The 2026 AAAP Self-Assessment Module 3 is a 25-question self-assessment examination designed to help addiction psychiatrists and other professionals evaluate their knowledge, identify areas for continued learning, and stay current with topics in addiction psychiatry and substance use disorders. Content in this module is based on topics addressed in AAAP’s Addictions and Their Treatment course.

The module provides an opportunity to assess knowledge and clinical decision-making, identify individual strengths and knowledge gaps, and focus additional learning on areas most relevant to professional practice. It may also support physicians who are completing continuing certification requirements.

Credit

Participants who successfully complete the module may earn:

  • 2.5 CME credits

  • 2.5 ABPN MOC Part II credits
