2025 Addictions and Their Treatment Course: Part 2 – Specialty Topics

The field of Addiction changes frequently as new information becomes available. This course presents a broad-based overview of addictions and up-to-date information in the field of addiction. It is recommended for physicians, PA-Cs, nurse practitioners, and other professionals who wish to stay updated on the most recent trends in the addiction field. It is equally relevant to junior faculty and clinicians as well as experienced practitioners and is intended to help psychiatrists prepare for ABPN certification and recertification examinations in Addiction Psychiatry.

AATT Curriculum

The AATT curriculum is divided into two parts:

Part 1 – Foundational Topics covers core knowledge and clinical concepts essential to addiction treatment.

Part 2 – Specialty Topics addresses focused areas of addiction treatment, including co-occurring conditions, special populations, and emerging clinical issues.

AAAP alternates the live course each year between Part 1 and Part 2. After the live course, the content is available on demand.

Both parts of the AATT curriculum are available every year. While one part is offered live, the other is available on demand—giving learners access to the full range of AATT topics without waiting for the next live offering.
